It is our absolute pleasure to be hosting an Intro to Beekeeping workshop taught by Don Merrill of No Bull Beekeeping. With over eight years invested in his craft, Don has a wealth of knowledge on all things Bee related and honey infused. By keeping his colonies at a modest number,  he has been able to deliver a more potent and impactful gift to the community by way of his high-quality honey products and generous beekeeping tutelage. The wisdom of the bees goes well beyond creating honey; it holds an important secret to the continuation of all life on Earth due to their special role as pollinators.

At this workshop you can expect to gain information about the tools and equipment needed to get started, as well as some a literature related to start Beekeeping. You will also get to have hands on experience with the tools and bee suits. This will be followed by a short history on bees and a Q&A session with Don.

Aside from the practical guidance and information on beekeeping, you will also walk away with your own beekeeping journal to record your future journey and take notes. You will also receive your own Intro to Beekeeping Booklet to help guide you on your path.
