Retreat Cottages Reviews
We had a lovely time at the cabin. It's in a beautiful area and it would be especially nice in the Spring, Summer or Fall, when one can swim in the lake. We woke up in the morning to snow, which was quite lovely. The cabin is very comfortable, warm and welcoming. The kitchen space had everything we needed to prepare a simple meal and to clean up easily. We were very happy to spend the night, and we appreciated that there was not a 2 night minimum. ~ Leslie
Mandala is a peaceful, beautiful place to stay. There’s not only a gentle stillness and sacred feeling to the land, their accommodations are pristine. This gem will become a well sought after place to unwind and clear the city off your bones - and we feel lucky to have found it! The details: cabins perched high off the ground, each w/their own porch and sitting area. Once you enter, you’re greeted with a gorgeous light wood peaked roof with plenty of windows that spill beautiful light into the interior. I loved seeing the tree tops and sunshine from the higher windows, and also appreciated the air conditioning to cool off our rooms. Our two-bed cabin had comfy fresh scented linens and extra soft blankets. The high ceiling bathroom had a gorgeous shower stall, plenty of counter space, high quality towels and liquid soap. Our mini kitchen had 2 electric stove top burners, refrigerator, quality cutlery and dishes and eco-pans for healthy cooking. And to top it off —a French Press! I love that they’ve put such effort into making sure their guests are taken care of. It’s like glamping ...meets luxuriously simple, zen-like accommodations ...meets Retreat. Their 200 acres gives back a little bit of that peaceful magic you didn’t even know you needed. ~ Esther, verified Expedia guest review
We booked Mandala Springs Wellness Retreat Center for Labor Day weekend. 2 families + 1 individual adult with 2 cottages and 1 tent. The space was very clean and well equipped with cooking appliances. Kids enjoyed swimming, bike riding, kayaking ... I would recommend this place for a weekend getaway for families with young children. It is also a great hideaway from busy city life. ~ anonymous, verified Hotels.com guest review
My family had a great time bonding at Mandala Spring Resort. The place is very peaceful and there are a lot of free activities like biking. There is a pool, mini golf and even paddle boats and a creek near by. The staff were very nice and accommodating. ~ Gennis
It was very peaceful and quiet experience. Nice to just unplug and enjoy the company that you are with. The cottages are very cute and clean. Super modern for being in the middle of nowhere! Kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals and the bathroom is very roomy. Hot water was not an issue. Our favorite amenities were the pool and the cruiser bikes. Pool area is very clean and the lounge chairs are super comfortable!! The public bathrooms are also very clean. If you want to unplug from daily life and have a group of friends or family interested then it's a no brainer! ~ Tatjana
Thank you for providing a beautiful compound full of amenities. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy them! The cabin was clean, the pool was the perfect temperature, and the deer were lots of fun to watch. ~ Lauren
Everything was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would totally come back here to escape from the city. ~ Zulema
Gorgeous cabins with everything you need for an escape. The pool is great, location is perfect with shops nearby including a cafe with great coffee and food. We plan on coming back. ~ Gemma
Such a relaxing and nourishing place. The cabin is beautiful, rustic, but also outfitted with all the amenities for a townie like myself. I even got to take a lovely dip in the pool and check out the garden, which is full of beautiful flowers and vegetables. Lastly, there is also a neighborhood grocery store about an eight minute drive for food stuffs to cook at the cabin. ~ Mia
